## Did you know the Easter Bunny is going low-carb?

Right now, it may not look that way at Walmart or your favorite grocery store, but it’s true. As an alternative to candy, he’s filling the hollow eggs with notes of appreciation, motivation and inspiration and you can do it too.
If you love busting open a fortune cookie, then you know your kids will love hunting for eggs and getting note-after-note of encouragement, fun activities and surprises in the eggs they find.

## **Here’s a list of suggestions we got from the Big Bunny:**

This coupon is good for a foot rub.
This coupon is good for a back rub.
This note is good for one download on iTunes.
This coupon is good for a book, next time we go shopping.
        Your laughter makes us happy.

Holiday food is always fun, unless of course it's your last meal and you're on death row eating it right before Christmas. That can't be fun. Now with that said, to change the subject, what does a log cabin, a snowman, a sleigh, penguins and an igloo have in common? You probably said, "Snow or cold weather." Okay, you're right, but when you're through reading this blog you'll be able to say, "Holiday fun foods."

# Quiz Time!

House Fairy here! I suggest you have a pad of paper and pen available so you can write down your kids’ responses, because you may learn something about them that you didn’t know. You could also be ready to ask them some questions of your own, after the House Fairy asks hers. By the way, did you know your kids will love to be “interviewed,” and they’ll feel so important when you take notes?

**About The House Fairy**

The House Fairy is the brainchild of New York Times bestselling author Pam Young. A stay-at-home mom of three, stepmother of two and grandmother of 12, Pam has enjoyed most of her life surrounded by happy children of all ages.

With a major in drama (not in college, but in life) Pam has always been able to see with the eyes of a child. Writing a shelf of “self-help” books to inspire disorganized moms, Pam’s focus has always been on solutions to the challenges mothers have in life.
